Toni Mitchell

Toni Mitchell obtained her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. In 2015, she became the first Black female police officer in Princeton, New Jersey.

As a police officer, Toni has advocated for more diversity in police departments. Toni’s goal is to bridge the disparity gap, empower people of color and dismantle patterns of racism within our society.

Toni is the mother of two young girls and hopes to use her degree from Rutgers Law School to make life better for the next generation.
